In Gulf of Oman today, I'm in the USS Essex anti-aircraft gun. The server still needs another 4 people to start the round so I'm just having fun teamkilling a bit. I get in the Essex gun and my teammate flies over the carrier in a stolen SU-34 MEC Bomber, and I start firing away.
He drops 5 bombs on me and does some damage, but I'm still alive. He reloads - comes in for another shot at me - and I shoot the underbelly of the bomber just as he releases the bombs. He dies and all the bombs hit the carrier deck. I swirl around waiting for him to respawn - but wait...whats that in the corner of my eye? I quickly turn to the direction of the object. I look closer, and about (maybe) 300-350 metres away is one of the SU-34's bombs, jumping up and down in the notable Oman blue horizon, it looks like a brown paper bag caught in an updraft. It erratically twirls and spins and goes up and goes down, but never hitting the ground.
I sit there staring and this UFO of all things. Just as I'm about to take a screenshot... it explodes. Dam...but wow. I did not realise bombs could do that.
