I need some Simple Help please.

Hey, I'm haveing some trouble with my BF2 Online playing. I login then it says "Connecting to account server". After it's done connecting theres this "Game Message" that say's "Unable to find a Play Now server". So I then go to Multiplayer Tab up top and I refresh servers. When I go to click one to load the server it says "Joining Server" then another Game Message pops up and this one says "You have an Older Version then this server". I have AOL I don't know if this is the problem. I just installed a BRAND new Video Card into my comp. to play Online and now I can't even load a server.

Please Help.

download the full - then install it

you cannot play BF2 out of the box - you must patch it to the latest version (1.4)

let us know if you have any other issues.

a: don't click on the "play online now icon/ short cut". Click on the other bf2 short cut. (On your desktop)

b: do you have the 1.4 patch?

just the patch (BF2_Patch_1.4.exe)

good luck + what onEhittah said, you do NOT want to be clicking on the "play Now" icon

You could end up playing some idiot forigners - oh the horror lol

OH MY GOSH!!! dude topgun, thank you sooooooo much for posting this! I've been searching for an answer on google for like an hour for this problem ahhhhggggggghhh! :cry::cry::cry: I though I didnt need to patch or anything or it would automatically load-- like WoW or GW but this is different than I've seen----- no wonder there were no servers to play on but now that I have the solution we all can just play (hopefully were still on patch 1.4):yay:

yes thank you, I checked the website and when I was at 20% in the 1.4 I was like "Oh noes! 1.41?" :dead: so then 3 more hours then it all was loaded xD
