i thought he stoped to play on knifes/pistols servers, but i was wrong
i was chating with him about this and he told that playing on those servers is more exciting that normal fight LOL?.

and i also know that he do it becouse its "the fastes i think" way to get huge points. probably if the game wouldnt have stats he wouldnt play it LOL

Almost 6000 out of 8600 infantry kills are knife & pistol. Ouch! Maybe he is short-sighted...

Going for your knife and pistol badges in a regular game turns you into a sneeky bugger. You have to hunt the person down as a frontal assault ends up with the wrong person dead.
Heaps of fun and a huge rush after you get a few knives in.

Well it's bound to be easy to get the badges on a K&P server (never been on one as I luckily came on here and found out it was against ROE before I got tempted).

I got both my Pistol and Knife on Karkand.

Pistol - go sniper after unlocking the M95 and take one shot to body, immediately follow up with pistol (with a bit of practice and a decent spot, it's not too hard to rack up the pistol kills)

Knife - got this the second time I tried it (first time I started when we were already low on tickets). Basically, I left hotel alone for this one and got about three knife kills at train accident as USMC after we capped suburb. I snuck around the building you can walk through to the right of spawn as you look up the hill. Guys spawn here and tend to look towards the ramp and shoot/lob grenades at the advancing US. By the time we capped train accident we had pushed MEC back over river and capped Factory. I spawned at Factory and charged into the back of Warehouse and then into the main area and ran around the three containers knifing the camping MEC defending the front entrance.

All in all I died 5 times for my 7 kills. I had been putting it off but had got to over 18000 global and was running out of time - so I thought what the heck.

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but you have to start the round with the intention of pulling the knife out and hunting for kills via an ambush style approach and it is very situational.

I have to admit when i started playing BF2, i checked out K&P servers twice and i thought it was hilarious( not for points ), just plain silly 10-15 guys in a tight spot all jumping and trying to knife one and other, i seriously couldnt stop laughing. Anyway, had to try it( i only have basic knife medal btw ), its a shame if these all get closed down, but i have no problem getting the ranked ones closed.

I just think its a stupid way of getting points, medals fair enough( i wouldnt use them for that, but i have no problem with others doing it ), but not points

Look at his playing time ... I think that he has spent 90% on K/P servers.
