Need Some Help Guys, Ctd Suddenly But Was Working Fine For 2 Weeks?

Hi all,

I thought i had solved all my Crash issues and my BF2 was running like a ledgend for about 2 weeks.


Now when i go to run it it freezes i.e "not responding" black screen and/or CTD


I used a new DVD/RW drive as my other one was old skool and this fixed the issue initialy...Now it will not run at all. Nothing has changed except i installed a Sound card and shortly after this happend but i uninstalled this any way.


ANY IDEAS PLEASE?

also the "play now" icon is blanked out ont eh auto run "CD" Menu when i insert disk?

BF2 engine is simply un-stable. A lot of people experance issues out of the blue when just hours before it worked fine. I had the black screen and the game would never load. 2 hours later it worked fine. The next day it wouldn't work again.

Just re-install when nothing else works.

Bad... dont use the Play Now icon/button, delete it quickly it causes quite a few problems
