Simply terrible. Guess it's an appopriate POTD for Monday. I give it a -4 for the uber bad/half-donkeyed result from the bad Paint Shop Pro-ing (it doesn't deserve to be called "photoshopping"). This results in this picture being kicked from the server.

I think there should be a choice of 5 - 10 pictures each day, and the one that gets the highest mark, becomes the next days POTD.

They dont always get 10 submissions and it would ruin the surprise.

Seeing as your a newb to the bf series I see why you would like 2142. 2142 is nothing but a mod that costs 50$. DICE screwed up BF2 with patchs and they will do the same to 2142. Its not i dont think they will continue on BF2 but its that I hate there bussiness practices and I hate futuristic games. It takes them 106 days to fix CTDs when a good company could release a hotfix in a matter of hours to days.

As for surprise, the only time I'm surprised, is when they post a POTD that isn't teh suck.

In all seriousness, it's not the idea I'm knocking, but the execution. It looks like a sniper in a copter #2'd on "batman's" head, perhaps it's bat guano. The "Batsignal light" is simply a logo pasted in, and it's daytime, kinda hard to see a light...

yeah... i woulda stopped at the cap and mask... i wouldn't post something with a bat logo/spot light in the day time... thats just rediculous.

but i wouldn't ban all photoshopping... i mean, remember that image with the mushroom cloud, that guy took the time to mirror the image in the ripples of water, and even ripple the water around the explosion... i mean. that was impressive, even though it was a fake... unlike this one, which just hurts to look at.

and as for the 2142 thing... i agree that bf2 needs some work. but i wouldn't halt 2142 for it. he'll, i've already pre-ordered mine. besides, most of the patches they release fix minor annoyances to a few noobs, and cause more problems while their at it. for instance, preventing bunny hopping. whats wrong with bunny hopping to begin with? if i was in a real war, i bet i could shoot and jump at the same time... i probably couldn't aim for ****. but i could pull the trigger and jump at the same time with ease. but they not only prevent you from firing, but play some stupid animation of your gun shifting positions, and reguardless of when you land, that animation has to finish before you can fire again. thats just stupid. i've been killed far too many times because i've jumped when i should have crawled. and thats hard for me, seeing as how i'm used to games where you fly to dodge, and try to stay away from the terrain so you don't get splash damage from wide radius explosions.
