noob question - bombing mode?

How do you bomb from planes? Do you switch to bombing mode? Or only planes with two seats have a bomber? I've gotten in every plane I can find and I can only shoot missles. I have 35k points but have stayed away from planes because of all the tk crap that goes on, but I'm getting bored with everything else so I thought I'd try.

I know, I know, stupid question, so flame away but try and include the answer in there if possible. Thanks, and I love each and every one of you!

If you're in a jet, the default key to switch to bombs as a pilot is the "2" key.
