Old news, but today is the day its in effect. Now EA is in control of DICE. I'm hoping they fire all the idiots in canada and make a good patch... RIP DICE.

The idiots in Canada are most likely EA programmers, it wont be long before most of the Dice dev team quit and are replaced by EA programmers.

The idiots in Canada are most likely EA programmers, it wont be long before most of the Dice dev team quit and are replaced by EA programmers.

the idiots in Canada are (well....were) DICE employees - not EA programmers.

They also created BFV - which sucked (IMO).

In a market where well-regarded games typically nab a score of at least 8 of 10 on popular review sites, NBA Live is performing poorly. “NBA Live 07’s many gameplay flaws and uneven visuals relegate the series to the bench for yet another year,” writes Gamespot, handing the Xbox 360 version of the game a measly 6.5. “In order to succeed in the next generation, you have to make good games,” Mr. Pachter said. “Everybody’s going to make a mistake occasionally, [but] they need to get their game quality up.”



EA is undoubtedly hoping future Battlefield games can do just that. Even if they don’t nab perfect scores, the company has another way to bring in a bit of extra revenue. In late August, EA said DICE’s newest game, Battlefield 2142, will feature in-game advertisements delivered by IGA (see EA Gets in the Ad Game).
