Re: Project reality mod is superb!

Now when I have played several rounds more, I must say that it getting better and better. The Idea of giving more points by rating threat size of destroyed vehicle is good, something that should have been implemented in a vanilla too. I mean I you kill some GI Joe in vanilla you got ur 2 points, if this GI Joe is flying attack helo u still got only those 2 points. That sucks! PRRM rewards better for doing some difficults task. Also me being mostly I sniper, I love the idea of getting more points for a kill depending the distance it was made. I have not played hardware maps yet, so I still have much to find out :)

I also like the idea of getting more or less points depending on the vehicle, although it is sort of a nuisance to lose the same amount of points when you lose a vehicle.

I can't figure out how to use the Sniper rifles, the deviation seems random. Where exactly am I supposed to aim?

I am a big fan of this mod too. It took me a while to get a handle on the gameplay but it did ruin vanilla BF2 for me, no looking back now. This mod and POE2 are pretty much all I play as far as BF2 is concerned. I do have a couple gripes though. It seems the amount of people playing is dwindling, they really could use a manual, and lots of people seem to have issues with armor. I love the armor in PR and hate it when people are yelling "theres not enough people on the server, get out of the armor." Grow a set, put on some pants, STFU, and deal with it!

v0.4 is on the horizon. That should bring in a lot of new players, as well as some old players too.

Yeah, some learning to do here also. Some rounds it seems that now I got it but on the next one nothing seems to succeed. I'm not sure but somehow optical manigification of the scopes seems to be lesser than in vanilla. Now targets around 150-200m appears like targets above 300m in vanilla. I'm not sure if it is so, or am I only imagining that but sure, sniping is more difficult especially in the long ranges.
