I cant order from there, i live in belgium so id pay about the same amount for shipping as for the monitor. But i can get 24' widescreens for 200 euros in germany. and no im not selling my old mobo... sorry...

my only question is why build a new system only to put a 7600gt in it, drop the extra change for the 7900gt, esp if you are going to be playing on that system for years.

what is your 3dmark06 score?

That 7600gt is a decent card for its price, but it is a medium-range card. I wouldn't expect it to play anything more than 1280x1024 resolution, so a 24" widescreen would be asking too much of it.

Agreed: Spring for a 1900XT or a 7900GTX so you can enjoy 100% of that duel core system.

Maybe a X1900GT if he does not want to spend too much... I agree that a 7600GT is not a good choice if you plan to use a 24'' monitor. I would be curious to see the frame rate in BF2 at 1920X1280 with everything at high...

I only got the 7600gt because my parents asked me to reduce the price for now, so that they will get me a G80 sometime next year, along with vista. i dont plan on buying a monitor anyway, i like my 17' viewsonic i have now alot

btw i dont have the system yet so no 3dmark06 score yet, sorry!
