Whats the difference between global and regular kills?

I've been trying to get veteran knife badge. I have 128 knife kills but i still dont have the badge. What is a global kill? It says i need 50 global kills? Whats the difference between Global and regular kills? Please help.

Global means the kills u have in ur career, the total of kills u have since u started playing

Theres no regular kills, or u mean "in a round" kills?

global are online kills, caue it played globally, reg kills are any kill i think

I think this will clear up the confusion:

With the knife badge, you need a certain amount of global kills with a knife. These are total kills with a knife over your entire BF2 career. Some badges also require a certain amount of kills in a round (IAR).

The knife badge used to require X global knife kills and once that was satisfied, you also needed X IAR knife kills. Now you just need global knife kills. So once you get those you should receive the badge.

The global kill is the sum of all the kills in every single server you played on (taking into account that the server doesn't crash). Thus, it's the number of kills since you made your account.

"Regular kills", I guess, are the total number of kills in one single round.

Maybe he means online server vs single player? I believe that offline kills don't count towards global score, therefore maybe you just need to get more server knifes. Just a thought...

Global kills are only those on ranked servers..........kills on unranked servers are not going to be added to your stats........i dont know if its changed but when i got my vet knife the req was 50 global knife kills and 7 knife kills in a round. Therefore, you need 50 knife kills total on ranked servers before u get 7 knife kills in a round (also on a ranked server) then BINGO

i dont know if its changed but when i got my vet knife the req was 50 global knife kills and 7 knife kills in a round.

Its changed, pistol remains the same with IAR requirement

Ive got well over the 50 knife kills needed and I dont have that badge.......then again I really couldnt care less if I have it or ever get it. I dont knife for badges, I knife cause I like stabbing snipers in the neck.:laugh:

you also need to have basic knife first....Therefore, you previously have had to get 7 knife kills in a round. When ypu get 7 IAR you prob will be awarded basic and vet at the same time
