Problem With Connection With Server And Losing Connection

When i first got this game i did have lag problems but that gone away a long time ago and for most time ive never had problems with lag or connection problems till now. I cant play a game with out losing connection with the server 3 or times 4 and can never play a full game.

Plus throughout the game play and always get problems with ur connection and crap. Its extremely annoying and plus i even bought a new cable modem hopping to solve the problem but that has not worked...

PLease i need help this has been goin on for like a month or 2 now and plus im connected with a dell router.... Please someone help i need my bf2 fix

Hi gamers,

First I have this issue too since patch 1.4.
Here is what I have done :
* Delete the file in "my documents" called Battlefield 2
* you need to retrieve your account and custom back your settings
* In a game , open the console and type :
pb_sleep 500
pb_writecfg
These allowed punkbuster to increase the frequency of checking your HD from 20 to 500 sec. It hlep in lag
* Check your internet connection
