Random CTD! Help!

Hi! For some odd reason, when I'm playing BF2, it will just randomly quit to the desktop. I'll just be walking around or shooting or whatever, and all of a sudden I'm seeing my desktop and BF2 isn't running anymore. Any help?

If you want help you need to a bit more specific.....sys specs etc helps...as it is you being a bit vague

Well I've got 1GB of RAM, a Nvidia GeForce 7600GT gfx card, Pentium 4 processor, 3.00 GHz. I'm not playing online as I have satellite internet, so it's nothing to do with that. BF2 just closes.

Does it do it everytime without fail or is it random...what resolution is it set at....i have seen posts of CTD where the game is trying to run a res that the computer could not support...looking at your hardware this shouldnt be the prob unless your monitor is low spec....try lowering all the settings to see if it is better (res to 800x600, all else to low)

It's random. I'm pretty sure I'm running the same resolution as it says when you go to desktop properties, but I'll check tommorrow. Thanks for the help!
