Vanilla M16's seem god damned too weak, i tried the assaults m16 for a change and i emptied like 4 bursts into some poor bloke and it didnt kill him.

It's probably the most accurate weapon in the game aside from teh sniper weapons. The M-16 when used properly is awesome.

M16 and the AKs are the Best of Assault Rifles

M16 is weak?

it takes 4/5 shots to kill

AK101 takes 3/5 to kill

there isn't much difference when fighting against an Armored class

and M16 has a high rate of fire

at single shot it has excellent accuracy and a teeny recoil, I can't remember how many times I killed Snipers/PKMers at Mid range

Just learn how to use it!!

No, I would say PKM is best for close combat.
