My Unsolvable Lag

Okay. I've been having this lag since last Christmas, and so far I have not been able to fix it. I have tried:

End All Background Processes
Memtest
Defrag
Delete Cache
New Drivers
Clean Install+Full Patch
Making sure all temps are low
Changing settings
Changing Driver Control Panel Options
FORMAT---> This actually worked for a while, but about 2 weeks after the format the problem returned.
I can't remember all of the other stuff I did. The one thing I have noticed is that in Task Manager, under PF usage, which I assume stands for Page File Usage, it always seems to be undertaking all of the memory needs of my system. Does this mean that all of my RAM is being unused and instead being put onto Page File? If so, I've turned OFF my page file to no avail.

Specs:

AMD X2 4400+
2x 256MB 7800GTX
2GB RAM

All optimizers, drivers and BIOS updates have been done (i.e. Dual Core Optimizer).

From the specs you have you shouldnt be having that problem with lag on your system. Im guessing a problem with your internet. But first have you notcied slow loading of programs such as outlook, hitting start and getting lag. Or is it only when you use bf2 or internet explore?

Yeah sounds like a connection issue.

Doesn't appear to be connection related. My Internet is working great and I have high speed Internet.

Try updating ur sound card drivers I know it seems stupid but who knows!!

I use onboard sound actually, and my sounds settings are set accordingly, but I'll give it a go.

I think I may have found the problem. I just ran another Memtest and it found 4 errors: what should I do?
