Re: Alan Wake screenshots
When I first heard of "alan wake" the idea struck me of just how MORONIC such a title is. Then it also occured to me that anyone with enough of a penis for cerebral tissue would OF COURSE want their name as the title of an obviously un-marketable game focused around poorly disguised sexual innuendo and dis-proportionate levels of violence.
But now I've actually seen a screenshot of this game, I've got to question what kind of backwards seal-clubbing semen recepticle would seriously want to play on some kind of forest milling train-yard.
I'm almost tempted to start persecuting why that hillside has THREE seperate and frail wooden fences, obviously constructed by an imbecile, but that requires the use of a thesaurus, since I lack the ability to form cohesive insults when compounded by such humongous levels of stupidity.

Re: Alan Wake screenshots
From the FAQ: (http://www.brightfalls.com/alan-wake-faq/)
For MrBenis:
Why the name "Alan Wake"?
The game is about a horror writer, he writes his stories based on his nightmares, his nightmares become true, probably that’s the origin of this name!
Other quick snips:
"There will be no multiplayer in this game."
"Utilising multiple cores, the game will seamlessly generate vast areas of the game world for the graphics card to render." aka - no loading times
How large is the game world? 36 square miles.

Originally posted by Sir. MatDefNot better, you need a dual core proc to be able to run it at all. They tried it with a single core, and it's completely unplayable. So dual core=minimum, and quad core= recommended.
