I used to play SOCOM3. I quit because of all the kids and people playing small maps. I tried playing it yesterday but I cant for some reason. I just get bored from it, maybe because I just need to take a little break from it.

I used to love socom II, my favourite game of all time...until my old *** PS2 broke. I wish more games had its type of multiplayer, but the community was lame as there was so many kids. Basically, I love the socom series, but detest the kids

I know what you mean, I usually play with my clan/friends who avg. the age of 30.

Yes, the little kids on SOCOM2 was what made the game bad. Especially the ones with a squeaky voice that were immature at all times. SOCOM3 cut down on some of this, since you have to enter a credit card for verification purposes. I still dont think this was a great idea.

i haven't played any of the socom series, but am contemplating getting 3.5? when it comes out. Looks like more features in it. Should I even bother with any of the older ones?
