Error connecting to a socket!!!

Since upgrading to 1.4 I keep getting the the above message when trying to login. i don't have another firewall running, BF2 is listed under windows firewall as an exception. It's getting right on my T*TS. Any ideas?

router with a firewall built into it maybe? try checking your router's settings and make sure its letting bf2 through
