You will have the chance to play El al again. The DCon team is working very hard re-creating classic Desert Combat maps, and one of them is El al YAY. I believe they have re-created 4maps so far for their first release.
Can't wait to play it. The mighty Scud shall rule again

I still play, [UG] clan still runs a good El Alamain server. 42 dos'nt even warn my system up with all settings max'd, runs at a steady 100fps.

Sounds like good news, but just to let everyone know that Desert Conflict is NOT the original Desert Combat. It is just a recreation of desert combat for bf2, and in my opinion it still won't be as good as the original Desert Combat.

Are you a developer, a tester, and insider who has such knowledge of DCON?

I saw on thier site that El Al, Desert SHield, Lost Vilage, Gazala, and Inshallah Balley will all be in the first release. I cant wait to see how it is.

oh boy! DC is what I have been waiting for, POE2 just does not do it for me.

I have no faith in this Mod at all.
The CTF mini they release was horrible.
They're trying to recreate something that was innovative in it's time.
It will never be the same.

And that A-10 model is horrible. The Engines and tail wings are too small:

(I'm usually not this picky but as I said I have no faith in this mod to bring back the glory of DC)

And what are you talking about exhaust nostrils? Why would exhaust nostrils be on the front of an aircraft? Most likely those things are some kind of laser or radar.
