Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
pft, the f18 can dodge missiles that even a j10 cant. hardly any people say anything about the f18 being unhittable, theyre too busy whining about the j10 which can be hit far more easily
So you think the Carrier on Wake and Dalian should have one F-18 and one F-35? Makes sense b/c maps like OCS have two different play, IIRC.
Just saying give the Chinese their J10s, but counter two J10s with one F18 and one F35. Since it looks like DiCE is not going to recode the models or do anything, this is a simpler fix.

no i dont think anyone should get f18's, id rather they get a clone of a j10 which is far easier to shoot down.
think of it like this, giving any team an f18 gives them the ultimate missile dodger. which the OP discovered for himself today!
Oh, I am not saying that it should be lop-sided...I just think one should be very fast and one should extremely agile. One can climb like a goat and the other could bank on a dime. Something along those lines. Not anything to do with hit detection.
I think they should make an air-battle only map. That would probably solve all your problems there.
Just 2 coasts facing each other, big ocean in between and a few air-carriers (for reload and repairs, and also those AA emplacements) on both sides.
16 player map: 8 fighters and Helos (don't really know about helos in an all-fighter map)
32 player map: 16 fighters and Helos
64 player map: you get the idea.
Man, imagine those bombing runs on the enemy hangars, and the AA and turret emplacements at the base firing on them.
As with capture points... I suppose that's the helo's job? (and the aircraft need to protect them, hmm).
I agree and disagree. This isnt poor coding. This is poor testing and the lack of vision of purpose of the change. I can tell you this- you can make missiles work or not. Theres no inbetween, trust me I tried. DICE has an option to either make them work for all or work for noone. They did this in pre-1.2 and pre 1.3. The attempt to choose the "Inbetween" method has resulted in what we have now.
So, the best solution would be 100% tracking missiles with huge limitations and restrictions to their use. These may include reload after each shot, increasing lock time and reducing lock range. Whatever. DICE can do it, people can do it. The problem is, they dont understand, nor know what to do. Its like, you have the skills, but you have no idea what to use those skills for.

I also blame it on the points system that encourages anal gameplay!
