graphics card KIRIN-V

my freind has a sony vaio [desktop] and he belives that he has a KIRIN-V motherboard......but i cant find it [so i can do some resaech on it] because he wants a new graphics card and we dont kno if it is AGP, PCI, PCI-E so if someone can please do some research on this motherboard it will be greatly appreciated.

does it look like this?

from what i can find their are 2 models using that motherboard, looks to be old P4 with AGP 4x

PCV RS210 = 2.4 Ghz
PCV RS220 = 2.53 Ghz

i found out the most the computer can ake from the graphics card is..4x so does anyone kno if a radeon 9200se is 4x????

It should be, depending on which version of it you get. If I were you, I would get a better card, I mean the 9200se is not very good. I think the highest AGP goes is the 7800GS for the Geforce series, but that is x8.

As far as I know, all AGP 8x cards will also run at 4x... that's what my brother's x700 has to do. I honestly haven't seen any benches on how much the 4x lane bottlenecks the cards, but I bet the x800gto would work decently for him.
