Spiritual successor i think you'll find its called. Its not officially a sequel. Cant wait to fire off some nuke, i feel almost sorry for those loyal C&C fans (even though the dev team left years ago) because they think C&C3 is actually going to be good.

Supreme commander is developed by the same dudes who made TA, so yes, in effect it is a sequel.

Those who have played TA will also note the similarities between the units of the two games.

A bomber, a fighter, a scout. Heavy tank, light tank? Infantry bots, though I can't wait to get my mits on that spider tank.

This is seriously becoming the ultimate strategy game. Once this thing comes out, the RTS genre is dead, there is just no room for improvement.

Theres always room for improvement however theres hardly any RTS games around most of them are really just real time tactics games. This will be one of the few true RTS games.
