  • Please Help Me!! Disaster!!!

    can anyone help me!? i had to uninstall my battlefield 2 because of some problem. and while trying to re install it, i was asked for the CD key and realised i cant find it/ have lost it!!! does this mean i have to buy a new battlefield game?? or is there a way i am able to find the key on one of the discs or something...

    please help this is a mtter of life or death

    Matter of life and death over a videogame? Hmm, I hardly think so. You have to find your CD Key or buy another game.

      The key is either on the back of the manual or in the case under the CD. The key isn't printed on my DVD at all, although it would be a smart idea to put it on there too.

      If you don't have the manual or case then you're basically stuffed and will need to buy a new copy of BF2.

        your cds-key might still be in the registry
        unless you uninstalled it using the uninstaller
        and not the "just delete the folder"

            i found this in the setup.ini file on the install disc...

            ProductGUID=04858915-9F49-4B2A-AED4-DC49A7DE6A7B

            would that have something to do with the dic code...it kinda looks like it would be but i cant find the right combination for the 20 positions

                yeh i did do the "uninstaller uninstall" haha so that sucks big time. But i found this in the setup.ini file on the install disc...
