Okay so if you have to pick 1 kit to play with from now on what would it be. I know theres been threads like this before but people change preferences the more experience they get with the game and I was curious what everyone here likes to play with the most.

lol i voted for medic but i'm amused by the final option.

I like playing medic because i'm rubbish at killing things, so i can still get points.

I hate to say it, because I quit playing it on purpose, but I would have to play Medic all the time if that was the only think I could play. I am playing the hell out of assault now, and trying to branch out to all the other lesser kits like AT and Spec-Ops.

you know.. i liked medic.. sniper and spec ops when i first bought the game.. then i graduated up to support as i got more skilled.. only use engineer when im driving a tank/apc...

then i found it. my beloved AT kit. somehow.. the dao-12 has grown on me like a fungus. i sucked SOOO bad when i first used to try this kit.. (thus my ratio with it still suffers) but now.. now.. that i have mastered it.. it clearly is the best kit. Able to shoot j-10s out of the sky straffing the carrier.. able to take out tanks, apcs, helos, etc.. the sheer stopping power of close encounters with the dao-12. even the long distance sniping with the sraw/eryx love you AT!

AT all the way. Medic if I'm playing IO, but there's no secret that a squad of medics will own in any IO map.

But if I'm ever playing standard vehicle maps, and it is one of Oman, Zatar, FuShe, Dragon, Dalian, Daqing, Clean Sweep or Songhua, the Anti-Tank kit is the only one that you need, and it's the one I'm more likely to get a gold with. And that is including having to go up against any air-power. The only reason my AT stats aren't better than my medic stats (as in sheer numbers), is because of the air-power and artillery that'll get me on those maps. But 1-on-1, I'll back myself in the AT kit more than any other.

DAO at close range, and sniping infantry at long range. I'll back myself against any armour, and all of those maps have plenty of jeeps to get from point A to point B. Who cares about being an engi and fixing your Tank/APC... just jump out, AT anyone near you, cap the flag, jump in to a jeep, go find another APC, rinse and repeat.

Sniper all the way, although this may change since they stopped nerfing, i started out playing spec-ops, then assult which i loved, then support whics is and always will be my favourite class, but they've messed up the pkm so much now i hate playing as support. I wont play medic as i just think its point whoring although the medics weapons are the most rounded and accurate weapons also, but i just think its plain and simple wrong that the medic is the hero in a round eh?

Anyway, i like sniper cos its accurate, but ive started playing assult again as i love the GL, BUT i noticed recently when playing against clans that if you time the jump for a nade from the GL you wont be killed, grrrrr

It would be a choice between Medic, Assault, Support and AT

My choice would be Medic

My vote was AT , medic is a close second.

I play for a win, and I'm squad leader a lot (when I hook up with my reg. buddies).

I just can't justify the other kits in 90% of the combat I find myself in, when I'm trying to achieve an objective in order to win.

I suppose if I was flopping madly all over the place in city maps trying get a big time K/D to help out, I would have a different choice.

I just don't like doing that (not that there's anything wrong with playing that way).

So for me, to not be able to stay alive by healing myself, or have some sort of defense against vehicles , in a game that emphasizes that, seems rather stupid.

I personally thing the AT kit and specifically the AT round itself is one of the things in BF2 that has a certain ammount of finesse to it. Nothing like bending a shot at the very end to catch the tail of of a fleeing chopper. Or making a 200+ yard tank hit to soften it as it approaches.

I think a squad of 3 medics and 3 assualt will own everything. But 6 medics comes close.

I LOVE the assault kit...g3, flashbangs, grappling hook (sf) owns!

Although my best kdr is in my support kit (2.0ish), I'm not counting engy due to it's mostly armor and assault is like 1.8 ish

i chose spec ops and my next best would be support. notice that over half the people will probly choose medic ( the ones that revive you when you want to be left DEAD).

I'm the Assualt kit. To me it's the most functional kit/class in the game. It combines firepower with defense. Grenade launchers give could crowd control, and the AK-101 and M16A2 are more then adequet for stopping power. Plus smoke, which I think is the most underrated item in the game. Smoke is absolutly vital to the Assualt Kit/Class. Makes it easy to get away from armored vehicles, and provides a good blanket of cover for when you have to move form one area to another.

Assualt kit is definetly my favorite, and favorite gun to use is by far the G3. :)
