    7600gs AGP

ok, so im looking at the 7600gs AGP by EVGA.

this should run BF2 on high settings, right? right now i have a 6600gt, so i want a decent upgrade in prep for bf2142, and to last me until next year when i can build a new rig.

I would expect that to run all medium or so, maybe a couple on low... how much are you willing to spend on this upgrade?

Personally I do not think it is worth it to upgrade from a 6600GT to a 7600GT the difference in performance will be very small.

The 6600GT will play 2142 just as well or even better than BF2, due to the engine optimisations. Save your money and wait

If you're going to upgrade, make sure the second digit of the new card is higher than the second digit of the original card. You're swapping mid-range for mid-range. A 7800 or higher and I'd say yes, otherwise you're just wasting money.

6600gt is the best choise for AGP cards do not upgrade.
I was playing the game on 7800GS AGP all medium, dynamic light and shadows off and still Fps was dropping to 35 on karkand
The best thing you can do is to upgrade tp PCI and then buy a new gfx

If your going to upgrade into that kinda price Range it HAS to be a 7900gs its way faster than the 7600

hm, alright. i guess i will just stick with the 6600gt.

i'll just save the money towards a Wii.
