cd key problem... not what you think

ok so i used to play bf2 a lot, and i couldnt install the 1.4 patch( even tho i downloaded it from 4 different websites) i would give me a driver error....so i got pissed and decided to do what i do after every patch, unistall and then reinstall, the problem is...it wont let me install, gives me an error when installing kubra dam(tried 3 times)...luckily my brother installed it in his new comp be4 the this went all crazy on me, ansd used my cd key so he could tryt the graphics and wat not, so he sent me all the files and the registry key, and now when i try to play it says invalid cd key....

Now, i have tried w/ the cd key .exe that the game brings but it still says the same thing....any ideas?

Well, from trying to translate your post into english, I'm gathering you're trying to use the same CD Key on two machines at the same time? You can't do that.

And I'm only guessing but if he sent you one of his registry files, that probably won't work on your PC unless your partition and directory settings are identical (I could be wrong on that one).

You can't just copy over an encrypted registry key entry and expect it to work.

2 mistakes:

1. You lost your CD key
2. You shared your CD key
