Radeon 9200SE - Help

As much of a **** I am I was looking for a cheap graphics card so I go on ebay, as would any one on a cheap budget and pick up the Radeon 9200SE for 18 GBP so I did some searching and some say it works with the game (BF2) and others don't before I go mad and end up throwing it out the window could someone please give me the bottom line yes or no

yes.i had one all u need to do is update the drivers.....y ppl say no is beacuase on the list of graphics card that tbf2 supports the 9200 se is not listed but it does support bf2 trust me.

bottom line.........YES

AHA GREAT, You have just saved my PCs life from the cold wind out side :)

Any idea where the drivers can be downloaded by the way?

It'll play, but thast about it. It won't look very pretty, but if you can last with it till DX10, then all the power to you

Any dramas with it try setting the AGP aperture to x4 and they work a little better.

Thanks for the replys, what it is/was I have been playing on the 360 for a while when it came out on the 360 it was the first I had ever heard of the bf series, someone said to try the PC version so I went on you tube and had a look at some videos! now I know what I have been missing, as long as I can play till x-mas maybe :) thats good enough for me lol

if ur 9200 se come with a cd then you can just use the cd to update the drivers....but i hope u kno the 9200 is agp so ur motherboard should be too also if u want to buy a good agp card buy the radeon X800GTO i have it and i run medium with some high and AA

I know nothing :) All I am hoping for it fits..
I know that the current card in there now has the same slot interface but the one that I have purchased looks wider between the 3 chips if you get what I am saying? Is there two types of these cards or..
I know there is like loads of types just wondering if there is two of the same I purchased, click here to view the item I purchased.. atm I have the ****test card going its like a Geforce 2 MX 400 or something :) (http://www.stasio.ru/images/GF2MX-400.jpg) thats like the one currently :P, I am a bit far behind with graphics my PC is good spec 1 GB ram 3.0 GHz processor or something just the grpahics card, anyway it should work but something always goes wrong with me :).

no no no upgrade ur RAM u need atleast 1.5 to run bf2 somewat good without lagging

give me the full name of ur old graphhics card too

No its true. Its the bare minimum card that can play BF2. It might run, but it'll look crap. You get what you pay for.

you can at least make a jump to a 9700 pro cant you? thats like £30
