    Logitech MX518 mouse problem

Hey my mouse keeps on constantly moving around the screen and opening up random programs. It happens almost every minute. I can't use it. I reinstalled the setpoint driver and it didn't work. Any suggestions?

uninstall the setpoint driver - it screwed my pc up also.

with just microsoft drivers you will still get 1600dpi, but you cannot change it.

Try this http://www.ccleaner.com/download/ program . Uninstall setpoint, go in and delete the Logitech setpoint folder and reboot . Then open CCleaner and under cleaner tab hit run cleaner on the bottom right . Now hit the issues tab and run the program . It will bring up a list of old reg keys now delete them all or if you dont feel comfortable just look for the ones called setpoint . When it asks you to back it up say yes and save the file somwhere you will remember . Next install setpoint drivers again and hopfully they work .

Btw i use this program every day to clean my system under the cleaner tab . And i run the issues tab once every few weeks & have never had a problem . If you do just double click the back up file . Hope it all works out for ya .Oh and i have the G5 .

In the new setpoint drivers, button 6 defaults to "flip program" or something like that.
Go into the options and change it do "do nothing".

btw ccleaner IS a great freeware tool, everyone should use it.
