  • No Vga Signal??

    I have just connected up a new mobo in my PC & when I boot there is no vga signal the monitor is blank.

    It is a MSi K7T266 Pro2 with an athlon 1800+ & 512DDR & 250W PSU

    Can any one help??

    the graphics card was working fine before I changed it over & I tried resseting the CMOS but I still nothing. I have been told the mobo is working fine.

      If you have onboard graphics make sure you turn it off in bios? Allso ya whats your Gfx card cuz if your getting no signal its somthing to do with graphics allmost allways

        It has no onboard vga.

        the graphics card is a Voodoo 3 2000 16mb (a bit old )

              I tried putting in a spare galaxy 5500 I have. Still nothing.

              I will try reseating connections

              dont worry this is a spare/server system BF2 would kill it

                Can you tell if its posting (do you hear a beep). Are both cards PCI - have you tried AGP?

                      yes it is posting, 1 beep at startup

                      both cards are AGP

                      I have now reseated everything still nothing
