What would you do? Kicked from server!!!???

Hi Gents,

Im not here to moan, or indeed moan about the clan i have the problem with as i wouldnt want them getting any special attention. BUT i was in a server, it was IO and the server clan ownsers where there - there was about 5-6 of them. I was on there side first, we won the round it was fun.

The round after i was on the opposite side. My team mates came on vent and asked me where i was. So 2 team mates joind the server with me on my side. We gave this clan a good run for there money, we must have been fighting for an hour atleast! Right near the end, we had about 10 tickets more then them and suddenly!:

"FULCON-ARROW YOU HAVE BEEN BOOTED TO MAKE ROOM FOR AN ADMIN"

I had just under 200 hard earnd points, the highest scoring player on my side and just because they know they were gonna lose they booted me (then agains it was close and could have gone either way). Luckily my team mates stayed and noted that NO admin joind the server under there tags. Someone with a low rank joind instead. 200pts down the drain! I was fairly piSSed! So this is actually my first "Bitching" post about another clan.

I noted the server IP, and reported them to BFROE. I also went back in and told them i reported them to BFROE knowing full well nothing will be done about it. Giving people the option to boot players is good, but what happens if they abuse it? Surly this comes under BFROE?

How many times have you been booted because ur a key player and the clan/server dosnt like loosing? And what would YOU do if this happend?

I'd report them to www.BFROE.com if I had any screenshots and then I'd get on with my life and play on another server.

Dont worry about the "life" side of things that part is sound. I guess all i can do is report them. Ive done it, and provided them with date/time. So they can always look up the server logs if its deemed important.

That sucks, but you shouldn't have lost the points. The only time I've ever lost points was when the crashes before the end of a round.

Don't you keep all those points anyway if you are kicked? Yer I think the only time you will lose them is if the server crashes.

Kind of sux they chose you to kick and didn't even have an Admin that was going to join. I just try to stick to a small bunch of servers I know are admined good and a lot of the players know me. Don't get vote kicks hax accusations etc because of that reason.

Except I was banned for TK'ing even though I didn't even have one TK......

what? do you lose your points if you leave in the middle of a round? thats not possible! since ive gotten a silver (if not gold or bronze) star and i left mid-round.. and if you leave a server but come back before the round is over you still got your points so i think if you leave your points just stand still till the round is over..

Your points are not down the drain, if the round ended without a server crash you will still get your points.
If i were you i would play on another server! Damn noob admins ruin this game NOT Dice/EA

NO you do not loose your points. You can leave half way through a round and still get your points. This is talked about all the time.... FACT... you keep any point you gain if you finish the round or not! (as long as the server does not crash)!!

When you leave a server, your points still get reported at the end of the round..don't worry. That's why when you leave/rejoin a server, you still have all your points and scores and such.

Wait, you could have joined right after the kick and the point were saved... It happens to me all the time. Problem connection mainly, I just reconnect and begins with the same points as before the connection lost.

How many time can you wait before it's deleted? Cuz sometimes (or always, don't know exactly) you can't rejoin for a whole 1 minute.

I overstepped the mark - I have the points i ernt in that server. But im still mad - its the principle of kicking someone. Usually you kick someone whos just come in, or been idol for a while? Not someone whos played a big part in there teams effort. Cowards i say - affraid to lose.

...Or the round ends (?). As same as the point are beeing reset when a new round starts, it won't save your points from the previous round (if you got kicked before the new one)

yea it will save them. If you leave the server midfight and you have 40 points you get those 40 points when the round ends, even if your not on the server, they dont disappear.

I have that happen a lot. Im not the highest scoreing player but Im really causing the enemy (people running the server) a problem, killing them, then bam its a boot or loss of connection. Really weird thats the only time I seem to loose my connection, figure that out.
Also, some servers in Europe will kick you for high ping even if you dont have a high ping. I was kicked from a server in UK today with a ping (I had just checked, its the polite thing to do) of 99. They said my ping was 167? I usually wont stay if I look and its over 140, that does happen sometimes. Ive been trying to get some more time on the EF maps and chineese maps but not wake Island. These maps are hard to find and are usually full when you do find them. Oh well, just more BF2 fun I guess. . . . . . . . . .Red
