To keep it off subject...I think DiCE has decent programmers... I just think they have had to rush to get projects out the door and/or are not as experienced as some of the larger/older gaming shops. They develop most of their code instead of buying engines.

But, they are a small shop and do have a track record that you could be critical of considering how long it took BF1942 to get stable.

Agreed. DP is the best of them all. Not as linear as the other two.

I agree. There is a real lack of the night maps out there. I like Warlord and Ghost town as much as the next person but the night maps are just more challenging. Wish they were in rotation more often.

yeah, you really have to be quick at changing between the night vision and regular vision. It does add a level of challenge to the game play which is very unique.

I think the reason night maps are not played is because of all the complaints about 'LAG'
I am determand i will play Night Flight lol.... I have vanilla, SF, EF and AF and Night Flight is the ONLY map i aint played..
It is now my mission to play that god damn map

Well, yes there was "lag" but also between then and down when SF was release, I personally have gotten a much stronger gaming machine. I found with my weaker machine, night maps just chewed it up. Now, no problems. So I think people shyed away from them because not everyone can pony up for an expensive machine in their lives.

there are a few of those servers iv seen them before... i personaly dont like them that much thought..

I really need to play devils perch at some point... I enjoyed the other night maps the few times they came up in rotation, but never tried that one. It was fun in Single player though.

I know it will never happen, but It would make my day to have EA throw out a new map or two for SF... In my opinion it's better than vanilla and the weak support for it isn't much incentive to buy any other EA expansions. An add on like EU and AF for SF would be great and I know I'd buy it!

If they're going to make us pay for the add-ons the least they could do is make more and combine them after a while at one lower price.

The lack of follow up on SF really makes me question buying 2142 sometimes. I likely will at some point, but I will likely play SF/BF2 for a while longer...

It will likely be infested with bugs at release anyways! :laugh:
