when joining through xfire the intro should be skipped automaticly, they added that in the new xfire update

incidentaly, there is also a way to automatically log you into your bf2 account, using the same step, but instead of adding +restart 1,

add.....

+playerName YOUR NAME +playerPassword YOUR PASSWORD

My Target looks like this....

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart 1 +playerName Tltch +playerPassword *****

Is there a flag for the name tag also? I play with a clan and in EBC so it would be nice to have two shortcuts on the desktop with two different tags. +playerTag or something?

i just use xfire to launch the game, skips everything for me. At first i though it was broken but this thread says it does it yay!

Just delete all the files in the movies folder for god's sake. Don't go through re-naming all of them blah blah blah....

Yeah, it's perfectly safe to delete them. They are not related to the game's mechanics at all. There are a few that I did not delete, which are the Welcome, and the Menu movies because the grey screen just gets boring and I don't mind sitting and watching those.

I don't mind wasting 3 hours at Bf2 but could'nt stand anymore that "Challenge Everything" slogan. It think it helps the stress level of everyone.

I just deleted everything in my movies folder in the Mods/bf2/movies and it works fine with no intros or annoying background sequences.
