You've never seen the targeting HUD of a real jet have you? Do you think the modern day pilots "miracle" the missiles and bombs to their targets, or maybe they "wish" them there?

Hate the sin, not the sinner. There are dweebs around here that revel in their supposed glory when they ride their iron-seagulls, but I see the world differently.

Ain't never had my TOW LAUNCHER picked up by any jet in any other game.. ain't never heard of it in RL either.

Remove the boxes all together, and make these douches use their dumb-fire bombs properly.

2) ability to pick up claymores/c4 with respective class (they were supposed to introduce this ages ago with one of the patches... anyone remember ?!?!?)

Hell Yeah! I thought that was gonna be included in the 1.4 patch!! I usually play as spec-ops and I definately see a need for this.Especially when low on ammo.

Make game playable with no more connection errore every 2min.
Make bolt action sniper 1 shot 1 kill (or m95 only).
trash the actual code and rewrite it from zero.

Yep,i just wanted to say that too,they will reset us so there is no point for new patch,there will be small fixes like patch 1.41 etc

I say stop listening to useless and unneeded ideas like speeding up stats and focus on the REAL problems like stability and glitch removal etc

I like that idea :)

On the whole i'd like them to just concentrate on bugs in game rather than adding gameplay "tweaks" which just seem to add more bugs/exloits.

But one tiny thing i would find useful is a "Wait" command in the commo rose, it's agonizing to watch your squad go running onto a flag when you know it's about to get artied and there's no quick way to tell them to stop.

Can we all stop with this notice of a patch 1.5
EA/Dice are just not going to make another patch, just because you posted that you want one. They said Patch 1.4 was the last one we are going to make for BF2. Why are alot of people complaint about Patch 1.4?
It works fine and so what if there is bunny hoppers and instanprones. EA/Dice tryed to make the game like in patch 1.12
Which is a good thing. Just please stop with all these "We need a patch 1.5" threads.

They said this would be the last "major" patch. Minor alterations as is necessary will still occur.

You guys do realize that 1.5 will never come. Dice and EA are all focused on 2142, they have basically forgotten about bf2 for the time being.

they should make the L96A1 a 1 shot 1 kill. i like taht gun. the M95 is fine how it is. if people could get 1 shot 1 kills with the first unlock, these forums would be filled with winers and complainers. they should have to buy the SF and then play on it. besides, it is the best sniper in the game.

I would say continue on some more optimizations, fix up any technical issues that were left over from 1.4. In no particular order, I would suggest:


-Swap the F35 for the F18 on the maps were it's USMC v PLA. It does not look like they will be fixing the F35 due to the nature of the current complexity of the design. Or so it has been said.

-Add MORE maps. Bf2 is definitely hurting for maps that everyone can have. I do not think boosters are the way to go with this because all they have done is create tension and wide spread segregation within the community. Map packs would most definitely increase the Ranked server revenue for EA. It also happens to be the biggest single complaint I've heard of.

-Fix the TOW/ERYX/SRAW/TV MISSILE though the vehicle thing. It is still there. Mainly when a vehicle is approaching you. If you fire a rocket at a FAV within a range of 40 Ft or less (appx), 9 times out of 10 it will miss.

-Give a little more power back to the BH guns

-Restore Squad joining

-Rework the spawn points in IO, some maps were clearly not meant to be played in IO (Wake, Zatar, Clean Sweep).

All I can think of right now. I think BF2 is about as complete as it will ever be, short of a couple minor tweaks and maybe a few more maps.

lol im surpried no 1 thought of this....FIX THE FREAKIN WALL GLITCH lol, isnt it about time? oh yea, and add more game modes, just the regular and Co-op is pretty sad, compared to most other FPS today....of course thats never gonna happen, at least not for now...
