i live in the middle east so almost every server i connect to i have a high ping, if im lucky 200. Is there ANY way to reduce it without moving?

Saudi Arabia. Im pretty sure there arent any servers anywhere around here. My connection is 512 kbps and i cant get a faster one for the time being. Would putting my graphics on low help?Comment

I dont think changing the graphics would help at all as its the connection between your computer and the server that decides on your ping, id say your stuck, Sorry.Comment

There is one iranian server try it (search using game-monitor), holland and german servers ping around 170~230 worth a try.Comment

that sucks. Thanks for the ip adress ill try it afterschool tommorow. Are there any programs to help speed up/optimise my connection? That would lower ping right?Comment

The only thing you can do is make sure that any unnecessary programs (MSN etc.) that will clog up your connection are not running whilst your playing BF2, apart from that, upgrade your connection should also help.Comment
