1.4 patch taking forever to download

Im downloading this 1.4 patch and it is seriously taking a long time. I have every program but the patch downloading off and its only on 8 percent overall and i started it an hour ago. Im just wondering if it took other people this long to download it or is my comp just slow.

the reason why its taking a long time is because its a really big file...over half a gig...i dled at about average 200kb/s and it took me like an hour or more

ok thanx but after i download it and its a shortcut on my desktop. Do i have to click on it or does it automatically just go onto BF2. Im new to computer games mostly played xbox but got tired of it. Because i had it on my desktop before and i clicked on it and it said run and than it started dling it and there was like to downloading bars and one said file and the other said overall

install bf2 to your computer

(the url is for the 1.4 full patch. It patches games to the latest version - run the download)

RUN IT. all is well.

Now start the game up and take aim!

Hello......even with cable it is a 540MB file for the full patch!!!! It takes time, especially if a lot of people are trying to download it!!!
