Wrong forum, but current guesstimates are the week of Oct. 3rd. But really it could be anytime after they've sent the "gold" disks for duplication/distribution.

I beta tested 2142. Choose any combination of profanity that you prefer, then scream it at the top of your lungs when the game crashes, hangs, does bizarre things and then lags horribly for the 299th time in a row.

Even if it worked right, it would still be a lousy game, at least in my opinion: it's a lame, grim, sadly half-hearted attempt at turning Battlefield into HL2.

Don't be so quick to judge. I also beta tested it. I didn't care for that map, but there will be other maps.

Also, it was a beta. The purpose was to find the bugs and get rid of them. The most recent community update about 2142 says they fixed roughly 3000 bugs. You can't believe everything EA/Dice say, but still the game can only be improved as a result of the beta.

yeah its beta for a reason..and its no where near hl2 (storyline wise) except theyre both a little in the future
