rank question

Hello.

Me and my cousion play together most of the time. He has a score of around 27k and his rank is a master sergent and he should of already reached first sergent because the required score for that is 20k and he has all the required badges. we thought maybe he needed to hit 50k or something but i just reached 20k yesterday i actualy skipped a rank ahead of him (first sergent) to where he should be. we dont understand what he is missing he has everything i have but with more points. any help?

He probably got one of the required badges after he hit 20k... in that case he won't get that rank ever.

Yeah, you need all the badges before you hit 20k points.

Bingo. He'll be stuck at that rank until 50k points.

BTW, this question gets asked at least once or twice a week in the form of a new thread it seems like; in other words, using the search function would have been great of you....just a friendly reminder, not a flame.

I think he's missing basic engineer.

my rank is also stuck, i have 37k points and missing two badges, knife and one other which i can't work out???!?!?! its far right on the top line of the badges bit if anyone know wot it is?

if so you are also missing "Basic Air Defense Badge and Basic Ground Defense Badge" which you will also need to get with your basic knife before you hit 50k points.

hey yall,

Now I'm depressed, as I understand it I "didn't" have all the basics when I hit 20k so I'm stuck on Master Sergeant till i hit the 50k mark for Master Gunny so have to skip First Sergeant.......damn that sux

Whats the quickest way to 50k apart from giving up my life for a few weeks????

the quickest way? I would say play as medic on karkand, or go commander and when you win you get the 2x bonus, which can add up fast. also playing on a 64 player server with it half or less full, getting in alot of flag caps can add up.

You know, I always wondered when reading such threads...

I seem to remember reading a thread where someone tried that and nothing happened............ I'm too lazy to go looking for it right now, though!
