Re: Need Mouse Advice
Well if you're not aiming for a gaming mouse but still surf the net quite a bit, I strongly advise one with extra buttons for back and forth.
I got myself the MX518 and the adjustable sensitivity comes in real handy when I need extra precision, but this one i think is a bit over the price you want.
My advice would be to get one that suites your hand the most and does what you need it to do.Comment

Re: Need Mouse Advice
Not sure how much those Razors they are referring to are, but I am close to buying one.
I suggested in another thread Sassback how to improve your accuracy. But something I left out, I went over to my friends house and played for a few minutes on his box with my account. Now, I had not configured any of my mouse buttons or anything, just jumped in, and with his Razor, I saw an insane jump in my game play. I mean damn! and it was not calibrated to my specifications either.
Now, they are a little pricy, but, I think Microsoft is going to come out next month with a mouse built by Razor. I am going to buy it. It is call the Habu.
I am a die hard fan of Microsoft hardware. Two of my old razors went in the trash, back when Quake3 was around (they were Boomslings back then not copperheads). Supposedly, they meet the higher MS standards of quality control and use the razor technology. So, I am going to try'em out. Here is a link:

Re: Need Mouse Advice
Ive owned
Logitech Mx 500,510,518,G5 & Razer Coperhead and id personally go for the G5. I just love this mouse its like a 518 but more accurate. As for the Copperhead i hated it , Im a taler guy at 6'2 and my fingers are long so the Razer felt like a childs toy for me . Allso the button placement on the right side are hard to get too . Id go for the G5 as i said you cant go wrong :)Comment

Re: Need Mouse Advice
when I was doing research to buy my mouse, everyone on the forums seemed to be saying the MX518 was the most awesome mouse ever. I went ahead and bought it and it is pretty nice indeed.Comment

Still my favorite by design, does not mean it is the best performer, just unbeatable layout. It is so hard to find these anymore

[sarcasm]Anything with a really good macro program is excellent! So you can dolphin dive and tv missle to your hearts content. Those are the best mouses! [/sarcasm]Comment
