not many servers showing

ok i recently discovered im getting way too little servers when it searches.
i noticed htis when i played at a mates and he gets over 1000 servers each time, the same at a local gaming place.

i didnt know this was a problem till now, i had been content with 100 servers or so since release lol!

anyone know why this is? it doenst bother me that much, but it means i cant join some of my friends because that server doesnt appear etc

u sure u have 1.4 full?

Yeah, make sure you download the new patch v1.4 Full. This should fix your problem since server already updated to 1.4.

yes i have the patch and i have had the game since release(last june) so its not a recent thing

thats what ive been thinking,problem is though, i wouldnt have a clue how to go about remedying(sp?)it.
