Invalid OS

A friend of mine can't connect to server we were trying to play on last night. It says 'Punkbuster error: Invalid O/S', or something of the like. Anyone know what might be wrong?

could be the error says Insuffiant O/S Privlages? needs to be an administaror on the pc

wouldn't matter if he did, would still work as long as it was installed properly

He is the only account on the PC.

Do i need to update punkboster if is it possble

to be honest ive never actually come across this problem in windows,

have you tried updating punkbuster with their PBsetup program

or maybe repatch, im a bit clueless (for once lol)

Funky|DK is the friend, so you can just ask him directly. Also, I doubt he did. He'd probably have told me.

Well its happened to me once, but only in america's army but the issue was the same, turned out that it was a virus causing all the problem, so i run some virus scans, some malware and trujen scan, which fixed the problem for me so i would say u should try that, because even if u think ur pc doesn't have a virus there might be one, so give it a try

Theres you problem. He needs to be an adminastrator to play online.
