POE2 lag prob .. really need some help on this !

i have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled ... poe2, battlefield 2, and the 1.4 patch about 5 times now and i still get the same problem ...

after abouut 30mins of playing the game .. i get unbelievable LAG.
my ping stays constant at about 10-30 on euro servers and 100-125 on us servers ... it doesn't do this with bf2 or special, euro forces and allied assult... ONLY POE2

it is a real shame cause i love the mod and i really want to play it but i cannot ... the other thing it could be that i want to rule out is my system, here are my system specs ... PLEASE HELP !

AMD 64 X2 3800+ (tried at base clock and overclocked to 2.53)
asus a8n-sli deluxe mobo
nVidia 6800 Ultra
x2 western digital 10,000 rpm raptors in raid0

now i also have checked that nothin is overheating... the hottest anything gets is the gpu and that is only 57 degreesC ... everything else runs below that temp...

Did you install the incremental 1.4 or the full 1.4?

MANY people claim that they have eliminated this issue by installing the FULL 1.4 patch for BF2.

Also, a system defrag helps out. I've noticed that almost everytime that I've installed/uninstalled/reinstalled and patched that there are some large fragments...this will slow down your game.

You might want to check with your isp or run an online internet connection setup/optimizer.

1st question ... full always full
2nd question ... i use Executive Software Diskeeper 9 Pro to defrag, still no joy ... my internet connection would be part of my ping if it was the isp i would see a spike in my ping or download rate ... niether
i am on 10Mb broadband .. no questions there !

not that either ... running at 1024x768 ... that should be fine for a 6800 Ultra !

Only map I lag on is the map with the Anti Air fort in the middle. All other maps run super smooth for me. I used the full 1.4 when patching as I have heard the same thing about the full patches being better.
