I just got over 115,000 pts and EA has registered the pts and everything but I didn't get promoted. So I go to bf2player.com and it shows -200 pts to go for Major. So I went to bf2s.com and the stats aren't updated on that site yet. I generally use bf2s.com to find out the prereq's for ranks but all it says is pts.
My question is - I currently only have basic armor and I'm wondering if you need at least all veteran badges to be promoted in this situation. Is this true? If it is, I'm screwed b/c I still need another 40 hrs until I have vet armor. lol
EDIT: Nevermind. I just joined and my 1st score I got promoted. It has never happened to me like this before. Usually as soon as EA recognizes my stats are sufficient then I'll get promoted in game. Never had to log out and come back in before.
