Yup, stay alive. I often pull back when things get nasty. My guys would much rather jog a few more yards then be back at a spawn.

If you move to a spot and your still alive, it was the right move.

id sometimes spawn on my squad leader otherwise im just the killing type i usally own when im in the right place.

Whats the point of joining a squad if you dont spawn with squad leader,lost count of how many times ive seen my squad running around all over the map.

i for one always join squads at the beginning of the game. for some reason i cant join or create a squad after the first 5 minutes of the game. here are a few scenarios in which it would be reasonable to seperate from your squad:

if the squad i joined happens to be baseraping the uncap while we are losing spawnpoints i will definetly deviate from the squad.

also sometimes a squad leader is pinned down by armor or a helo etc. and it would be in your best intrest to spawn elsewhere.

if your squad leader is somewhere and something important pops up (like a friendly flag being taken) then it is important to prioritize.

How do you kick people from your squad?

I always have the same problem with people joining my squad and then fighting the whole round on the opposite side of the map.

Its so annoying to be on IO mode and break across the front line to where you can capture any point you want but you end up being all by yourself because all your squad mates are happily staying back spamming nades.

at the beginning of the round, i start my own squad, then click manage squad, and invite all the best team players on my side into my squad. :)
its like managing a gd soccer team by inviting the best talent into it. lol

Some interesting view points,sometimes spawning with your commander while hes pinned down isnt a great option and will probley end up with your death,but what happened to comradeship helping your teammate when he is pinned down.

I think the point im trying to make is ok its not always feasible to spawn with the squad leader but atleast work together instead of having most of your team half way across the map,thats not really a squad then is it.

Reminds me of a battle i was having with this one guy ,i had him pinned down really good ,he must have been low on health ,when suddenly his entire squad spawned on him and handed me my ***.

Played last nite with some guys on MAshtur city as US (forget the server) and they all knew how to work as a squad....always were medics, support AT and assault around, we all spawned on SL for the round. Only prob was we were the only guys working as a squad the WHOLE of MEC were working together.... I mean the attacked everything in force....was crazy to see a whole team working like that. At the same time though we were able to get ok scores picking up outlying flags and attacking them in force. One of the most enjoyable rounds i played. SL was excellent, stayed alive the whole time for us to spawn on him.

LOL, yeah, Its sucks facing a well organized squad...they will roll over you.

I wish VOIP was more consistant in servers, because communicating verbaly enhances a squads effectiveness alot. I dont think most pubbers take the time to log into a servers Vent or Teamspeak, I know I dont.
If a game is moving fast, sometimes the squadleader doesnt have time to map out objectives and guys will scatter.

Thats like asking why you made this thread & asked that question knowing full well that there are tons of idiots & non team players! LOL

But I agree totally with you. Thats the main reason I join a squad & I usually pick a kit that is needed in THAT squad.

And to the other guys post about it NOT switching people in squads. Thats not true. Only Commanders & Squad Leaders won't be switched! Squad members will unfortunately be switched to the other team if needed! ARRRGH!!
