    Re: TK Punish

What they should really do is move the forgive Key away from the punish key to avoid Accidental Punishing as, I know in the Heat of things, I accidently Punish instead of forgive.

And yes punishing for accidental TK is spiteful and vindictive.

You could just remap the keys yourself. But yea I agree by default it might have beena better idea to seperate them further.

Well, gee, sounds like there already is a fix for the "problem". Hmmm. Imagine that. And no dopey "give a point" either.

LOL I love self centered a$$hats like you - people who think I just misunderstood the genius of what they said because I think it is a stupid idea. It's just a stupid idea. I actually really enjoy thinking about how much time you wasted putting that whole post together. Nice job spanky. And judging by the avalanche of sensible and well thought out replies I see that you have really touched the soul of the BF2 community at large.

Who cares about TKs. If you get punished for a team kill and it just boils your blood, then maybe you're taking the game or your stats too seriously.

I always forgive and don't care if I get punished.

I would love to see that system to be taking out, so more players would just play and not think of things like:
          - OMFG he punished me for acidental TK
          - OMFG i'm going to punish you for TKing me.

If I could, I would have configured my BF2 to auto-forgive so it wouldn't bother me with that question.

You do not lose points when someone punishes you for a TK, so I dont see why everyone has the vigilante attitude when it comes to that. You get teamkilled, who cares punish it or not and move on. You teamkill, htey forgive or not, who cares, keep playing and move on.

LOL!!! My thoughts exactly. Hey why not get a bonus 10 points for logging in? And maybe 5 everytime we click Options or Multiplayer, or Controls?

              Re: TK Punish

I agree with the TK issue. Playing at some maps, I have thrown a grenade into an area, which one of my teammates (not paying attention, of course) ran right in after it, and then died. Obviously, people need to pay more attention as to why they were TK'd. If you were in a group of the enemy, then DUH, your teammate most likely was NOT trying to hit you. GET OVER IT!!!! If you were by yourself, then it could be a different story. Just watch to see how you were killed. If it was a mine, C4, Claymore, etc., then obviously it was not intended.

I only punish if someone really makes a bonehead mistake, and it has to be pretty bad or intentional.

I was infuriated the other night on Wake when i was punished because some A$$h01e was standing right behind my tank and I backed up to miss a bomb that almost wiped me out. I mean come on! Never enter a Tank from the rear.

I only punish when it's done on purpose, or you get run over with out a sorry! (when they could see you, not when you get squashed hiding behind a tank)

I feckin hate it when some idiot walks into one of your claymore and punishes you

For the record 'ridiculous' is not spelled 'rediculous'. 2 different posters, neither can spell. Some people need to practice 'spelling awareness' and not just 'situation awareness'. :)
