I cannot get any patches to load!

I had version 1.2ish.. patched to 1.3 and suddenly most of my servers are gone... found it wouldnt load 1.3.. it was listed in custom games, but even after activating it, it still wouldnt load 1.3... so i get the 1.4 full patch, install it and i get the same result.. 1.2something.... im down to 33 servers and im pissed... my pc is more than capable of running the game and ive got plenty of memory.. i love the game and have played for years now, but i know relatively little about computers, so please if you can, make the replies simple enough for your average pc-idiot.

I would redownload the full 1.4 patch from another location (IE EA's site) and if that doesn't work then uninstall bf2 completely and reinstall it and repatch with only 1.4 full.

It is a fairly large file so please give it a second to launch the patching process.

I had some problems with patching too. Not quite what you are explaining. You should try to patch with the full 1.4 I would recomend you get it from EA downloader. If that doesnt work you might have to uninstall the whole game and reinstall and patch to 1.4 Sometimes files get corrupt and you can have problems.
