Yah so unless you've been living under a rock then I'm sure people haven’t been seeing me play much... or at all. I'm in college and the internet here SUCKS... I average like a 700 ping in BF2 and this very second I’m getting a 500 ping in Ventrilo.. I'm trying to talk but nobody can here me </3 ;( When ever I try to join any server I get auto-kicked by consol because of my ping… It’s been about a month since I've been able to play.....

So I downloaded HamachiSandwich or whatever crappy program that thing is and nismo made up a server, I went in and we flew around it bit... the lag was really bad when I fired the missiles it was just bullshi and nothing made sense... virtually impossible for me to play in a real server. So I pulled out FRAPS and recorded my little 5 min experience w/ Hell... enjoy!

lol that’s because I had a connection at home equivalent to a T3.. all to myself. Now I'm here with like 1,000's of people all on the same network... and everyone is probably downloading porn LOL damn noobs slowing the servers down. I went down to the IT guys last week and was like "uhh yah the internet here SUCKS" I was like I play online games and the ping is just ridiculous. He was like "wait lemme guess what game - bf2" lol apparently a lot of people have been bitchin about the ghay internet here. The guy gave me some sob bs story about how they were "working" on it. Yah yah ok I know when I’m being bs’d so don’t try and play me. It’s weird though... counterstrike is the only game I can play with decent pings... I guess maybe because there are a lot more servers out there or something. Either way CS is crap and not nearly as fun as shooting shi up in a chopper ;(

when flying a chopper tree and lag combo is definetly your deadliest enemy.

oh, gotta love that feeling of two people in a helo, both with high server pings!

That really sucks, I remember a time where I had to dialup to get on teh internet and if you wanted to play anything, it could not be an FPS. I am glad those days are gone. Just hang it there, it will get better.

Man, I am truely sorry. I know what that is like. I remember the days of dial-up and it sucks so bad. Just sit tight...maybe your IS group will get things squared back up.
