Punk Buster Help needed

Tonight I was playing in a server and got disconnected via Punkbuster for the following: "Md5 Tool Mismatch: pylib-2.3.4.zip (len=2048)".
This is the 1st time I got this, and it is a straight stock game. The only thing I did tonight was download POE 2. Would this give me a PB warning???

First, do the manual PB update.

Then, If no one else can help you here, try the PB forums. There are some posts over there about this.

But no, POE2 shouldn't cause this. At least it hasn't for me.

me either eh.....yeah try the forums or try reinstalling bf2 or something, worth a try.

No, it won't because PB is working fine. It's either the file (python libraries) that is damaged/changed or there's something worng with the server's MD5Tool setup. Contact the server admin, try playing on other servers.

1) Try other servers (see if you get same error)
2) Manually update PB to the latest version
3) Do clean install of PB (remove, clean registry, reinstall from PB site)
4) Do Clean install of BF2

(Leave POE2 alone! Just work on the BF2 and PB issue)

Well I removed POE and did a PB update. Server still kicked me, but went to another server and it worked fine. May reinstall POE and try it again.

Well apparently Punky didn't get past the 3rd grade. So quick to point out "hacker". If you would have read the 1st post (sorry I didn't know you couldn't read) you would have seen this is a clean version of BF2.
Go back to your game and punish some more people for TK when you run into the path of a fast moving vehicle!!

punkbuster is nothing more than a sham to make us all feel nice and tingly
and protected inside. Hacks for BF2 that were working 16 months ago when
this game was released STILL work today. Any game with punkbuster
'protection' is to be considered 'lighty protected'.

Its a damn shame that a major title release like BF2 would be so unsupported
by its programmer, DICE, publisher, EA, and yes even its all-mighty 'protector'
punkbuster. Its a damn miracle these 3 groups do not write/support
something that is REALLY important, like national security, or protecting the
money in your bank account.

yes, again, hacks (aimbots, radars..etc) that came out 16 months ago,
STILL WORK TODAY..its a damn shame.
