what's wrong with the chopper at the woodyard?(dragonvalley)

I always keep wondering that if i play dragonvalley on the usmc side everybody is going beserk on the carrier to get a chopper,and even tk for it.
Then when we change side and everybody is on the airstrip doing the same thing while at the woodyard the chopper remains not used.Being a fairly good gunner but not able to fly, i sometimes sit there for over ten minutes waiting for a pilot.
Don't they know it's there or what?

I always spawn on the airstrip first and I get the chopper most of the time

I use it, but if im USMC, id rather use the cobra. As for China, theres really no excuse not to use it

I always spawn at the Wood Yard CP on Dragon Valley if I am PLA and want to chopper; it is never contested.

well it has a cylinder out and mis-fires every third or fourth round , a tad bit of rust at the tail and the rotor is out of balance.........therefore nobody wants the old jalopy

to be honest i was a bit suprised when I first saw 3 cobras on kubra, well theres one at the USMC main and if u take over lower dam the second one will spawn on top and if you take over intake the third one will spawn, mecs are stuck with two choppers lol

Unfortunately, that chopper is almost always occupied on nz servers.

Infact, you'd be lucky to find an empty jet/heli. Finding empty tanks is easier.

Yeah, everyone is always running for the most powerful vehicles in the game, then they expect the kills to appear in the upper-left corner somewhat magically: of course, they never do. Good times... :)

The woodyard chopper is just the last choice. The woodyard gets taken a lot by the enemy and most ppl want the consistancy that the chopper will be there when they crash so if you take the woodyard one you have to pay attention to the woodyard and defend it or lose the chopper.

The USMC choppers are on the uncappable carrier so they are always first choice if you want to fly a chopper. Too bad they don't put one USMC chopper at the docks instead of two on the carrier.

Ah the rant of chopper whores.....lol. It's a chopper for crying out loud....so use the thing. I have seen way to many people teamkill to get the 2 choppers at the airstrip, and of course the one at the woodpile is not used! So are those choppers really worth killing your own teammates, and lowering your teams tickets... when you can just spawn at the woodpile and have a helo all to yourself? (heck fly solo if you want!)

And they wonder why I dont fly....I like both feet on the ground or at the pedals of a tank!

That logic goes both ways: by choosing the airfield heli, you're at serious risk of the enemy making attempts on that flag... moreso than the insignificant woodyard. I prefer the latter because almost no one goes for it...

Team tickets are easy to get and it's usually a fair price to pay when the alternative involves a teammate flying aimlessly, wasting a valuable asset.

Teamkill is still a teamkill. If he isn't a very good pilot, the chopper'll be respawning within a minute or two, anyhow.
