cd-key...lost

hi

i have installed and played bf2 for a while now, but i cant find my sleve for my cd, so there for my cd-key is lost.. i didnt register product while i was so egar to play.. and i tried registering now and it says invalid cd-key

my game came w/ video card is there a way for me to retrive my key?:cry:

Im sorry to hear that

I too lost my special forces cd key so i had to purchase it off of ea downoader.

Currently there is no way to get your cd key if you didnt register

You can try to call up ea games in your country and see if they can get a cd key of them.

The easiest way is to buy a new bf2 and then save the cd key on your comp :P

isnt the cd key suppose to be in the back of ur manaul for bf2

and u can try system restoring to when u first isntalled bf2 and then check ur registry

I believe the cd key in the registry is encrypted so that rules out that idea

it wont be encrypted if u r able to restore ur comp back to the original game (it was like after patch 1.12 when they started encrypting the cd keys i think)

I know everyone says this but always make a word file of your key somewhere as you always end losing booklets somehow :p

The KEY for BF2 is on your MANUAL not your sleeve as other games..If you registered the game with EA the have it locked into EA downloader for you to enjoy forever-Download EA downloader to recover GAME.. but....you then have the unluck to get all their crappy trailers too- but worth the hassle

Check the front page for MY EA GAMES after you login to BF 2 home page.. it also lists your games with complete KEY numbers. Ea says NO one looks for the obvious.. IF YOU REGISTERED.. if not.. your done cooked and served.

Mines on the sleeve. I think it varies depending on your territory.

If you ever find the key I recommend you write it on all of the cd's/dvd. Its what I do and it works out great.

I tossed my BF2 manual by accident and was left without CD key when I had to rebuild my system and reinstall the game.

EA will send you a new CD key if you send them one of the original game CDs (as proof of ownership), and a $10 money order. Took about a week or so.
