Has anyone else experienced, an ingame (while playing during a round) crash to desktop. It appears to happen at random. I would say it has happened maybe 4 times. I will be in the middle of a round, and suddenly BF closes. I only experience this with SF, and it started happening since the 1.4 patch. So, I am just curious, as to whether or not, anyone else has had this problem?

CTD's were supposed to be fixed in 1.4 but doesnt seem to have got done :|: -

Yeah BF2, SF, Armored Fury and EF, all keeps crashing
They have to release a HotFix for this, cause a lot of people are having this problem. Do u have to reboot after crash?

For me it is only SF. After playing a few rounds, I click join game... HI welcome to your desktop. No, I do not have to reboot. I just have to restart the game.Comment

I wished EA would release a fix for this, I had to upgrade because I couldnt find a multiplayer game otherwise, but since going from 1.1 to 1.4 i crash to desktop most times have tried deleting the battlefield2 folder from my documents which helped a bit then i get crashes during games all the time.
I love this game but it just isnt working, im so fed up to waste so much time.
I tried reinstalling from scratch and applying the 1.4 full. So it isnt that. I got my 1.4 from the EA site. I remember seeing a thread with loads of things to do but cant find it anymore.
I run an asus v9999 which is using a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 this does run the game ok.
