I suck at this game, but loving it

hey all,
a while ago i heard about this ''online gaming thing'.But being bad with computers and having a terrible internetconnection i went to an internetcafe in my town.
Well,they introduced me to bf2 and i was immediately(?)hooked.But i suck big time at it. I am only able to play for 3 or 4 hours a week,so the first hour i'm trying to remember what i learned the last time.But boy,do i love this game!!My w/l ratio is dreadfull,my k/d ratio is awful,my acc.% is worth crying about.But boy do i love this game!!
Recently i play dragonvalley alot and tried gunning in a chopper.I love it when i get a good pilot who's patient with me and doesn't start yelling when i miss sometime.i had some great runs with guys (my personel best is 94 pts.) I always wanted to discuss our good runs(and the bad ones) but being slow at typing i stopped doing that cause then we always got killed.But everytime i learn a little bit more,so maybe,one day i can take you all on(haha).

i've seen much worse stats than that, including my own at points. your spm is pretty low(mine isn't the best either,) but i've seen MUCH worse. i wouldn't say that you suck by any means though.

First off play for fun, not points. And like the others have said your not that bad, just need to play more if you want to get better.

Wouldnt worry bout it..., thats what the game is all about, having fun, dont get stats obsessed, IMHO thats whats brought bf2 bad kharma.

actually your stats are pretty good for a rookie, when i first started i had somewhere around a .4 .5 kd ratio and under .75 a min for the first 15k points, i was used to rts mmorpg etc, bf2 was alot faster paced and i was ill equipped, not very smart either, run into 5 guys guns blazing, getting no kills and a quick death, hoping the tank with the turret pointed right at me wouldn't see me if i ran by. lol it can take awhile, to hone your skills, just squad up with experienced guys and follow their lead, you will learn quickly that way, and hopefully become a good team player as well.

My advice to you is to focus on what your good at, and then hopefully branch out to other kits and weapons. You seem to be best with the sniper rifle and the support gun. Use these until you get good and build up some confidence. Then maybe try another kit. Once you get resonably good with each kit you can start to pick your kit on what your team/squad needs. However, the best advice i can give you is Practise, Practise and more Practise.

p.s. Your not bad for a newbie, much better than i was. Keep it up dude!

Fun > Stats.

Does your internet Cafe have Ventrilo or teamspeak? Try to hook up with some good guys on voice communication. It takes it to a HO NUVA LEVA.
